Masana village is located amid the beautiful maragoli hills where birds sing from morning to evening, with rivers and rivulets streaming making it a perfect haven of rest, away from the mad bustle and noise of the city life. It’s unfortunate that at the moment due to lack of other social economic activities in the area , locals have engaging into stone mining activities breaking the bride of the village “stunning rocks “that have been existing since the beginning of time.This rocks are the only thing left of the historical maragoli forest which was brought down 20 or so years through deforestation and deviant burning of charcoal by locals.Many efforts have been put into place to stop the activity but to no avail most lacking sustainability. The villagers need more creative and innovative way of sustaining food production and also other economical means and activities to earn an income ” Help support champion Green Farming and Tourism project ” will provide long lasting solution to the village increasing food production by 40%, Animal feeds by 50% , support use of recycled water in creating employment 30% and also increase tourism/visitors visiting area by 45%.
